As you may have heard, there has recently been a popular game going around, this game is called Amoung us.
now, alot of people think that Amoung us has just been recently realesed but thats not the case. Amoung us was acually realased on June 15th of 2018. The developer and publisher of the game Amoung us is innersloth. You can find the game in the appstore on the platforms IOS, microsoft windows and android.
buttons and controlls:
After you install the app and open it, it is going to takes you to a screen where it will probably make you accept their polocys like all other apps. After you do this its going to give you directions on the map how to play and what maps and settings are best for playing the game. you will then be allowed to make your character. You will be allowed to make a user name that can be changed at all times if you would like, you will also get to pick a colour of your character, you will find this out later in the game that the colour you chose at the beggining will not always be the colour you will use to play the game. This is because your colour will change if you enter a game and a different person has chose that color before you got there.
On the screen you will see a menu like this,
To play you wolud tap online and it will take you to another screen that has 3 options. Host, public, and private.
let me explain to you what these mean.
Host: if you choose to tap on host it will allow you to make your own game, you can make that game public or private. if you make it public any one can see it and join to play if they choose. If you choose to put it on private then this will let no one join. The only way someone would be able to join is if you tell them the code at the bottom of your screen. Private mode is usally for when you just want to play alone with friends instead of people who you do not know. ( the code at the bottom is when the private mode comes in)
Private: Private is for when you and your friends want to play together on private . To do this you will tap the button that says “private” and it will tell you to enter a code. Make surethe person who you are wanting to play with has told you the code so you can type it in and join there private game.
public: If you choose to play public, you will tap the button that says “public” and it will bring up a list of random peoples game you can join and play on.
Little tools inside game
If you are the host of a game you are able to kick people out and or ban people from that spicific game. This is not to be used unless people are being extremely rude or innapropriot.
Now, you might be thinking… ok yea you taught us all the controlls, how to get on the game, and what buttons do what… but when are you goi g to teach us how to acually PLAY the game???
And to answer your qeustion, I will be teaching you right now.
How to play:
When you join a game you will wait till there is 10 players then the host will start the game. You will be given a team, If you are the imposter you dont want to tell anyone. You want to trick them into thinking you are a crew mate
PAUSE
Before we get more in depth on how to play, you need to know what an imposter is and what the crew mates are…
Crew mates: crew mate are the good guys, if you are a crew mate you have to watch for little clues to figure out who the imposter is.
if you are a crew mate you are given a list of tasks in the top left corner of your screen to complete to help the crew mates win before the imposters do.
The crew mates can be killed by the imposters but the crewmates cant kill at all. The imposters are the killers, they will kill and leave and try to leve no evidence so they dont get caught ( which is mostly the whole point of the game) if you start to catch on to the imposters and start making the other crewmates that the imposter is a certain person, if that person is the imposter and you were correct, that person will most likely target you next so you dont give them away.
impostors: If you are a imposter you are the killer. you have to kill the crewmates but you cant let anyone find out you are the impoter so you dont want to kill a crew mate if someone other than the other imposter is there.
Impostures can vent so you dont want to be seen venting or they will know you are the imposter. if someone suspects you, you have to change there mind so they dont vote you out.

UNPAUSE:
now you know what each player does, all you need to do is complete your tasks. If you get killed and they dont find out who the imposter is you will be a ghost. when your a ghost you can she the crew and imp but they cant see you. You still have a chance to win the game though because even though your a ghost you can still complete tasks to win the game.
